Here at Epic Tails Charters, we are family. Every one of our Captains is USCG Certified Captains and, are either retired or current Law Enforcement or Fire Fighters. In order to make your trip safe and exciting for everyone, here are some dos and don’ts :

What You Bring: 
Sunscreen: (NO SPAY/ AEROSOL) it stains the boat.
Food and drinks
Sunglasses: recommend Polarized if possible. 
A towel
Camera / Phones
Shoes/ Footwear: if at all possible, please light soled / non-marking shoes or flip flops
Appropriate Clothing: dress accordingly for weather that day. 

What We Bring: 
Fishing license/permits
All fishing tackle, gear, and bait
Cooler with ice
​Safety Equipment / Life jackets / First Aid-trauma kits

Where and when we will meet: 
When you book your trip we will discuss where and what time to meet. There is plenty of boat ramps and docks in the Tampa Bay area and we will meet depending on your location and ability to travel. Also if you want to target specific fish certain times of the year depending on migration patterns or specific bodies of water. 

Absolutely Do NOT:
Absolutely no GPS / Tracking devices on board.
No bananas or Banana Boat Lotion, or anything to do with, or named, or picture of Bananas. ( funny story, google it) 
No Alcohol or Liquor on board, no exceptions. 
No aerosol/tanning lotions or sunblocks. It stains the deck of the boat and is very slippery. 

Anyone under 18 years of age is required to wear a life jacket while the boat is underway. Once we are at anchor, it will be at the discretion of the Captain, depending on weather and other variables.
