what to bring


  • Sunscreen: No aerosol it stains the boat and can make it slippery.
  • Food, Snacks, and Drinks  
  • Hat, Sunglasses, Towel
  • Camera and or Phone
  • Shoes – Footwear  if at all possible, please wear light-soled / non-marking shoes, crocs, or flip flops
  • Appropriate clothing: Dress accordingly for the weather on the day of your trip.

  • Fishing licenses for all anglers
  • All fishing tackle, poles, gear, and bait
  • First Aid and Trauma Kits
  • Cooler with ice for your snacks, and drinks. Please do not bring an additional cooler on the boat, leave in your vehicle.
  • Bottled water
  • Over 25 years of expertience and fishing knowledge of the Tampa Bay area
  • Safety Equipment, Life Jackets (children are required to wear lifejackets per Law)

  • No aerosol sunscreen as it stains the boat and can make the boat slippery.
  • No GPS or Tracking devices on board. 
  • No bananas on the boat! This includes Banana Boat sunscreen or anything related to bananas. It is BAD LUCK. A popular fishing myth is to ban bananas and even Banana Boat sunscreen on board. Some anglers believe that having bananas along on a trip will not only lead to a fishless day, but they can be responsible for a crew falling ill or just bringing bad luck

Captain Chris will clean and  fillet your fish for you.

       Tackle & equiptment


Don’t worry about bringing a pole or tackle, we have everything you need. Captain Chris spends quite a bit of time preparing for each and every fishing charter. You can have confidence that you’ll be fishing with first-class equipment that is flawlessly rigged. You’re going to be targeting fish that will look for any opportunity to gain the upper hand, and Captain Chris does his best to give you every advantage.  Don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, drinks, and a snack!

Live bait including White Bait, Pinfish, and or cut bait along with an assortment of artificial lures are provided on your fishing trip.     

payment & deposit


$100.00 deposit is required at the time of booking your trip.

Your deposit will hold your charter date. If you cancel your trip outside 5 days of your scheduled charter, your deposit will be fully refunded. But, if you cancel within 24 hours, you will otherwise forfeit your deposit.  By making your reservation we have likely turned down other clients for the day.  We understand that unforeseen situations may arise beyond anyone’s control and can affect travel plans. However, If the Captain cancels your trip due to weather or any other reason, you will receive a full refund, credit, or the option to reschedule.

Payment is due in full before the end of your charter.

We accept cash or credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, with Venmo.

*Gratuity Is Always Appreciated but Never Required.

 The Epic Bay boat 22SC is powered by a Suzuki 175 four-stroke motor. The Epic’s dry ride and stable fishing platform make your fishing experience as comfortable as possible. It offers comfortable seating for four anglers while also providing shade. Drafting only 12 inches, the Epic Bay boat is capable of navigating the shallow waters along the Nature Coast of Florida as well as the beautiful open bays in the Tampa Bay area. The vessel has large live wells, state-of-the-art electronics, first aid, and trauma kits, as well as all safety equipment required by law and the USCG, and is U.S. Coast Guard inspected annually. Our boat is serviced and maintained on a regular basis so you’re always safe while out on the waters. Captain Chris obeys all state laws and regulations as safety is a priority.

    We launch from one of three local dock locations.

    Prior to your trip, we will let you know the location and the time to meet. Don’t forget these essential items for your fishing trip: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, camera, shoes, appropriate clothing, snacks and water. Please do not hesitate to ask us if you need more information or have questions about your fishing trip or sightseeing trip.
